Our bodies function best as an integrated whole. That's how they are designed to operate. When our bodies work in this manner, we automatically eliminate the extra stress that is being placed on individual joints by reducing unnecessary tension and forces being applied to these areas. It also improves the joint space and decreases the wear and tear on the tissues, both soft and bony, that make up those joints. Thus, improving joint health and durability. At the same time, we restore healthy functioning at the joints providing more ability to move and perform the daily activities you need to do to function in everyday life along with access to the activities you used to do or may want to do try and do now.
The process I use through The Gift of Movement reintegrates the body's ability to move as a whole. Using this method I have had great success in reducing and eliminating chronic pain and enhancing recovery from traumatic injuries including joint surgeries. This method sees the human body as a whole organism that works together as one unit and provides the means for restoring both function and health to the body.
My focus is primarily on the physical aspect of the body, because that's where my training lies. However, I know that it affects the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of a person. These aspects of us are all connected and have an impact on each other.
